Seton Hall will not participate in any athletic events the remainder of this week because of the dormitory fire that killed three students in South Orange, N.J.

The Big East Conference school said Thursday that among the events postponed were the men’s basketball game at No. 6 Syracuse on Saturday and a women’s home game Saturday, also against Syracuse.

It was not known when they would be rescheduled.
