Simi Valley 83, Royal 57--Branduinn Fullove had six of his 26 points and Jared Weaver scored five of his 12 points in the second quarter as the Pioneers (18-2, 6-0), ranked No. 1 in the region by the Times, pulled away in a Marmonte League game at Royal.

Simi Valley outscored Royal, 21-11, in the second quarter. Brett Michel had 17 points and 13 rebounds for the Pioneers. Shaun Michel had eight points and 10 assists, and Anish Sharda had seven assists.

Oxnard 71, Dos Pueblos 55--Jonathon Davis and Jason Parker each scored 13 points for the Yellowjackets in a nonleague victory at Dos Pueblos.

Matthew Merricks had 12 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five steals for Oxnard (16-4), ranked No. 4 in the region.

Agoura 55, Westlake 53--Armand Gonzales made a layup in the last second of the Marmonte League game to give Agoura (3-16, 1-5) a victory over host Westlake (11-9, 1-5).

Gonzales had 12 points and five rebounds, and Andrew Morrow added 15 points and three rebounds for Agoura.

Channel Islands 74, Hueneme 52--Brothers Mike and Alex Solis combined for 36 points for Channel Islands in a Pacific View League game at Hueneme.

Mike Solis made five of six three-point shots and had 21 points, and Alex Solis had 15 points and five rebounds for the Raiders (10-10, 1-3).

Ventura 52, Buena 39--Tyler Ebell scored 17 points and Mike Derse had 16 and 14 rebounds for the No. 7 Cougars (14-7, 3-1) in a Channel League game at Ventura.

Crescenta Valley 78, Arcadia 56--Jimmy Goffredo made 12 free throws and finished with 18 points for host Crescenta Valley in a Pacific League game in which six Arcadia players were ejected.

One Arcadia player was ejected after getting into a shoving match with Crescenta Valley’s Mark McCauley. The other five were tossed out for leaving the bench during the incident. McCauley was not ejected.

Goffredo, who finished with 18 points, took all 12 technical-foul shots.

Burroughs 43, Canyon 37--Justin Ambos had five three-pointers and finished with 17 points, and the host Indians (13-5, 4-1) won a Foothill League game.

Burbank 50, Hart 49--Frank Reed scored with six seconds left for host Burbank in a Foothill League game.

Trenton Cleveland made four three-point baskets for Burbank (12-7, 3-2) and scored 11 of his 14 points in the third quarter.

Littlerock 72, Palmdale 69--Gene Myvett scored 33 points and Frank Robinson added 17 to lead visiting Littlerock over Palmdale in a Golden League game.

Eric Brown scored 26 points for Palmdale.

Monroe 70, Reseda 59--Bobby Mitchell scored 33 of his 35 points in the second half for Reseda (3-16, 1-3), but the Regents dropped a Valley Mission League game at Monroe (14-5, 4-0).

Mitchell had 17 points in the third quarter and 16 in the fourth. Robert Palafox had 23 points and Derrell Williams added 15 points for Monroe.

Grant 63, Poly 52--Ryan Logan scored 11 of his 19 points during the third quarter for host Grant in a Sunset Six League game. Logan made three three-point baskets in that quarter.

Grant (4-15, 4-0) ranked No. 10 in the region, outscored Poly, 21-13, in the third quarter. Krishna Evans had nine points and 17 rebounds for Grant.

Kennedy 64, Van Nuys 48--Reserve forward Gervell Byrd scored 22 points, including two three-point baskets, for Kennedy in a Valley Mission League game at Van Nuys.
