Marines Identify Body Found at Camp Pendleton
Military investigators said Wednesday they have identified the body of a Marine found in a wooded section of Camp Pendleton over the weekend.
He was identified as Lance Cpl. Brian P. Akers, 20, from Brethren, Mich., stationed at Camp Pendleton. The death is being investigated as a homicide, said military spokeswoman Capt. Patricia Restrepo.
