Ice Dogs Fall at Orlando, 3-1

ORLANDO, Fla. —
Mark Beaufait scored on a power play in the second period Friday, leading the Orlando Solar Bears to a 3-1 International Hockey League victory over the Ice Dogs.
Robb Gordon put the Ice Dogs ahead, 1-0, at 6:42 of the second period off a pass from Dieter Kalt. But Beaufait quickly followed with a goal at 19:07.
The Solar Bears added two more goals in the third period and held Long Beach to 17 shots. Orlando had 27 shots.
