Efforts to amend the bylaws and articles of incorporation for two Leisure World communities are almost complete.
The proposed changes include changing the names of the homeowners associations to include Laguna Woods instead of Laguna Hills, having an appraiser determine the cost of fair market prices for a manor that’s on the market and limiting the terms of mutual directors to two three-year terms.
Residents of Third Laguna Hills Mutual must mail in the voting ballots they received last week on the amendments by July 20.
