Kitt to Appear in ‘Cinderella’

Veteran singing star Eartha Kitt will appear as the fairy godmother in the touring production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” next year at the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

The role is a complete reversal from her last touring show, a 1998 mounting of “The Wizard of Oz,” in which she played the wicked witch. “Cinderella” plays OCPAC June 5-10. Tickets currently are available only as part of a six-show series subscription for $143 to $353. (714) 556-2787.
