Phil Jackson: Not Afraid to Irritate
Maybe Jackson is a miracle worker, after all (“Redeemer, Dragon, King of the Zing: Phil Jackson,” by Mark Heisler, May 7). In just one season, he has the Lakers playing hard and playing as a team. As he says himself, you can’t get the pearls without irritating the oyster, and he might be just the guy to serve as that all-important grain of sand.
