School Bus
On the school bus, there’s lots of chatter,
About movies and games and sports, and in softball-who’s the batter.
We listen to the radio or sit there and stare,
We’re very bored, so we look who is there.
We sit on the uncomfortable seats,
We sit there and stare at the shoes on our feet.
At the bus stop, the driver gives us a lift,
The bus driver acts like the bus is a gift.
We get on and off, the ride we survived,
It’s so very boring, I can’t believe we’re alive.
