Armed Man Holds Up Office Supply Store
An armed man robbed an Office Depot on Monday evening and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The holdup occurred about 7:20 p.m. at the store at 425 Cochran St., said Simi Valley Police Lt. Andy McCluskey.
Police said the robber asked to speak with the manager. When the manager appeared, the robber pointed a handgun at the supervisor and demanded cash.
The manager retrieved money from a register, and the robber fled.
There were few customers in the store and no one was hurt, police said.
The robber was described as white, in his early 30s and about 6 feet 4 and about 180 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt and a red baseball cap, McCluskey said.
