Chaminade 49, Crespi 24--The host Eagles (6-3, 1-1) rallied from a halftime deficit with a 21-point third quarter.

With Crespi (0-9, 0-2) leading, 24-21, Chaminade capitalized on a roughing-the-kicker penalty to take the lead. The Eagles, who had been forced to punt on fourth-and-five, scored on the ensuing play, a 69-yard touchdown pass from Erik Vose to Josh Jones.

Vose completed 12 of 23 passes for 248 yards and four touchdowns.

Chris Abichaker rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns in 17 times carries for Chaminade.

Crespi built its halftime lead using big plays. Garrett Feig connected with receiver Adam Verdugo for a 68-yard touchdown on Crespi’s first possession and John Kidwell scored on a 97-yard kickoff return.

Crespi capitalized on a Chaminade fumble for its third score. Will Jaboby scored on a two-yard run on fourth down to tie the score, 21-21.
