Glendale 35, Hoover 21--Dustin Neresesyan rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns in 19 carries to lead visiting Glendale (1-9, 1-4).
Neresesyan also caught a 47-yard touchdown pass from Armen Dembekjian to give the Dynamiters a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.
Neresesyan’s 37-yard scoring run with 1:15 to play clinched the victory.
Ebony Henry gained 81 yards in 10 carries for the Dynamiters, who rushed for 177 yards.
Sophomore Armond Esmaili rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns in 24 carries for Hoover (0-10, 0-5). Esmaili’s four-yard touchdown run with 2:29 to play pulled Hoover to within 28-21.
Glendale capitalized on three turnovers and took a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.
