They’d Like a Recount on Columnist Status

T.J. Simers indicated that 376,392 Maricopa County voters are morons for voting yes on a stadium initiative.

Webster’s New World Dictionary defines moron as “an adult mentally equal to a child between 8 and 12 years old: an obsolescent term.”

There are many different viewpoints in every type of election. Are those who vote according to their conscience after careful consideration of an issue to be labeled moron or genius, depending on Mr. Simers’ opinion?

It’s apparent Mr. Simers did not research the entire impact of a yes vote on this initiative. I hope he spent more time researching the ballot initiatives in his own county, for I would hate for someone from another state to label him a moron for not voting as they saw fit.
