Suspect Sought in Girlfriend’s Assault
Los Angeles police are looking for a 33-year-old man in connection with an incident in which he allegedly pushed his 29-year-old girlfriend in front of a trash truck in Van Nuys.
The woman, whose name was not released, suffered a broken arm and leg and several broken ribs. She is in serious but stable condition at the Van Nuys campus of Northridge Hospital Medical Center, said Det. Craig Rhudy.
The incident occurred at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the 6700 block of Woodley Avenue, he said.
Eduardo Sanchez and the woman became involved in an argument that escalated to a physical fight in front of their home, Rhudy said.
