Harmon’s Suspension Lifted After 2 Games
Ike Harmon’s suspension from the Cal State Fullerton men’s basketball team was lifted Monday, an athletic department spokesman said.
Harmon, the team’s leading scorer and rebounder the last two seasons, was sidelined for Fullerton’s first two regular-season games because of an undisclosed violation of team policy.
Harmon won’t play in the team’s home opener against Pepperdine tonight in Titan Gym, the spokesman said, but is expected to be available to play against College of Notre Dame Saturday.
Harmon was sidelined on Oct. 17 because of a stress fracture in his left foot, then was suspended indefinitely on Nov. 15.
Junior guard Brandon Campbell, a starter last season, is sidelined for at least three more weeks because of a sprained knee ligament. He was injured in the first half of the Oregon State game.
