Quartz Hill 17, Littlerock 14--Jorge Portillo kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Rebels (2-4) at Quartz Hill.
After Portillo’s field goal, Littlerock (2-4) attempted four consecutive running plays, but Juan Wilson was stopped on fourth down at the 17-yard line.
John Ford of Littlerock rushed for two touchdowns, his second on a one-yard run with seven seconds to play in the fourth quarter. Jake Read’s extra point tied the score.
Ford ran 15 yards for a touchdown with six minutes left in the third quarter to pull the Lobos to within 14-7. Ford rushed for 167 yards in 29 carries.
Quartz Hill took a 14-0 halftime lead. Josh Fricke threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Mychael Williams midway through second quarter. Derrick Teal ran 80 yards for a touchdown with 1:07 left in the half.
Williams rushed for 129 yards in 23 carries.
