Detroit at Tampa Bay

Share

* The line: Tampa Bay by 8.

* Story line: The Lions (4-2) come to Raymond James Stadium looking to avenge a 31-10 loss to the Buccaneers (3-3) earlier this season. This game can be categorized as must-win for both teams as the Minnesota Vikings are leading the Central Division at 6-0 and will be tough to catch. Detroit lost one of its most potent offensive weapons when wide receiver Germaine Crowell suffered a broken bone in his left foot during practice last week. Lion quarterback Charlie Batch will be looking for veteran wide receiver Herman Moore to pick up the slack. Tampa Bay has lost three consecutive games by relying too heavily on its defense and turning the ball over too much. After committing only one turnover in winning their first three games, the Buccaneers have nine turnovers in their three losses.

* Key matchups: Lion running back James Stewart against the Buccaneer front seven. James gained only 13 yards in the last game against the Buccaneers. Buccaneer quarterback Shaun King hopes to hook up with new main target Jacquez Green against a leaky Lion secondary.

* Injury report: DET--WR Germane Crowell (foot, out). TB--WR Karl Williams (knee, out).

* Robyn Norwood’s pick: Tampa Bay. Goodbye, losing streak. The Buccaneers aren’t as bad as their .500 record.
