El Camino 68, Golden West 3--Quarterback Robert Hodge threw for 218 yards and four touchdowns and Devin Pitts caught touchdown passes of 70 and 46 yards for visiting El Camino (1-0).
Mt. San Antonio 23, Fullerton 14--Host Fullerton (1-0) scored first-quarter touchdowns on a 20-yard fumble return and a two-yard run by Jeff Crooks, but Mt. San Antonio (1-0) came back to score 23 consecutive points and win.
Riverside 17, Orange Coast 2--Dustin Davis, a linebacker from Mater Dei, scored the only points for the visiting Pirates in their opener with a safety in the third quarter.
Pasadena 32, Saddleback 27--Jason Whieldon from Orange Lutheran High threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Chris Bernard and also led visiting Saddleback in rushing with 59 yards in nine carries.
