Jamie Dantzscher of San Dimas, a member of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, sprained her ankle at practice.

Dantzscher, 18, was doing a dance connection move during her floor exercise routine and twisted her right ankle.

Dantzscher said the sprain was mild and that she expected to be fine in another day or two. The women begin competing Sunday morning.
