North Hollywood 28, University 12--Quarterback Derick Brill passed for two touchdowns and ran for another for the Huskies (1-1) at North Hollywood.
Brill’s nine-yard scoring run gave North Hollywood a 7-6 lead with 47 seconds left in the first quarter.
After University (0-2) closed to within 14-12 late in the second quarter, Brill connected Jamar Lett on an eight-yard scoring pass.
Brill completed eight of 12 for 116 yards.
Nathaniel Payne rushed for 92 yards in 13 carries.
