SPECIAL TO THE TIMES

David Heller tipped a pass out of the end zone on fourth down with less than one minute remaining to seal a 17-14 victory for Pacifica over Ocean View Friday night at Westminster High.

After Pacifica’s Jacob Clark connected with tight end Alfonzo Auelua for a six-yard touchdown with 3 minutes 43 seconds remaining to make it, 17-14, Ocean View quarterback Patrick Campbell attempted a game-winning pass on fourth and 11 from the Pacifica 31. Heller had his man well covered, and jumped in the air to cause the game-saving incompletion.

Campbell completed nine of 24 passes for 180 yards, with one interception for Ocean View. He connected with wide receiver Phillip Smith five times for 103 yards, including a 45-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, which gave the Seahawks (1-1) a 14-10 lead.
