Michigan Coach Lloyd Carr doesn’t believe the Big Ten has any reason to apologize for the officiating during the Wolverines’ victory over Illinois. “I have made my extreme displeasure [known] with the conference office [over the apology] . . . and I stand my comments that I think the game was relatively well officiated,” Carr said. Carr also said that Justin Fargas, a heralded running back from Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, will switch to safety. . . .
