HUNTINGTON BEACH
The Amigos de Bolsa Chica wetlands conservation group is holding its 21st annual 10K/5K Run & Walk on Oct. 14 at the Bolsa Chica State Beach Bike Path.
Set to the theme “Running Is for the Birds,” the family event serves as a fund-raiser to preserve and protect the Bolsa Chica wetlands, which begins at the corner of Warner Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.
For adults, the entry fee is $20 before Oct. 6 and $25 on the day of the run/walk. Entry is $10 for children under age 13. All participants will receive a T-shirt.
