Motorcyclist Hurt in Hit-Run
An Oak View man suffered a broken foot and scrapes after being struck on his motorcycle Sunday morning by a hit-and-run driver, authorities said.
Scott Kuhl, 40, was riding north on California 33 with a group of other motorcyclists when he was hit about 11 a.m. near Wheeler Springs, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses said the driver of a white car was turning the vehicle in circles on the gravel shoulder when it veered into oncoming traffic.
The driver fled after striking Kuhl, and officers did not have a complete description of the car or the driver.
Kuhl was airlifted to Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura.
