Ramirez on Gore

Yeah, cartoonist Michael Ramirez likes to make fun of Al Gore and Bill Clinton (Aug. 16). Of course, he never actually touches on any issues. He merely makes fun of them with immature little barbs. That’s because on the real issues, these guys can’t be touched, and most Americans side with them.

I’m sure what really burns his hide is the fact that either of these guys would beat his type of politician, George W., today if a fair election was held. Gore has already proven he could beat Bush, and there can be no question what would happen if Clinton could run again. So hey, Michael, you make fun of these guys any way you can, and the rest of us will laugh at the real cartoon man, George W., for the next 3 1/2 years.
