Northridge Loses, 30-17
Preston Parsons passed for 250 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score as Northern Arizona defeated Cal State Northridge, 30-17, at Flagstaff, Ariz.
Marcus King gained 130 yards and scored on a nine-yard run that sent the Lumberjacks into a 10-7 halftime lead, and Jadiem Wilson caught an eight-yard scoring pass for the other Northern Arizona TDs.
Parsons, selected as the starter four days before, was 22 of 35 in his duel with Northridge’s Marcus Brady, who passed for 310 yards and threw TD passes to Derek Sage and D.J. Hackett.
