Cove Shut to Swimmers After Sewage Spill
From Times Staff Reports
Cameo Shores Cove was closed to swimmers after a sewage spill Tuesday, officials said.
A 100-gallon spill into a storm drain that empties into the ocean was reported to the Orange County Health Care Agency at 7:30 a.m. Officials said it was caused by root blockage in the city’s collection system.
The 200-yard shoreline will be off-limits at least until Friday, officials said.
