Driver Arrested After Crash Kills Passenger

A 23-year-old San Gabriel man was arrested Friday on suspicion of drunk driving and gross vehicular manslaughter after a car crash that killed his passenger.
Frank Andrew Camacho was allegedly speeding north on Rosemead Boulevard about 1:30 a.m. when his car slammed into a traffic light pole.
Camacho, who has two felony “strikes” for robbery, was held in lieu of $500,000 bail, said Deputy Don Moses of the Temple City sheriff’s station.
