Keith Jarbo said yes to Brown University and its football program. Then he said yes to the rest of his basketball season.

Jarbo had been struggling on the hardwood for Burroughs while making his college decision as a football recruit.

After selecting Brown over Pennsylvania, Yale and Princeton, he went on a four-game tear, averaging 23.3 points and 12 rebounds and nearly doubling his output in five previous games.

“Tell me that’s not a load off the kid’s mind,” Coach Art Sullivan said. “He became a different person, a totally different person.”
