Two gunmen forced employees into a restroom while they robbed a Kmart store early Monday, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.

The robbers herded 14 employees and a deliveryman into a restroom during the 5:30 a.m robbery at the store in the 39600 block of 10th Street West, said Sgt. Mark Johnston of the sheriff’s Palmdale station. No one was hurt, he said, and the robbers escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The store was closed when the robbery occurred, but the gunmen forced their way inside when employees opened the door for a maintenance man, Johnston said.
