No. 9 Los Alamitos 2, Fountain Valley 0--Andrew Bornstein and Cameron Kolovos had goals for visiting Los Alamitos (12-1-3, 3-0), whose goalkeeper, Jamie Ackerman, made five saves to record his third consecutive league shutout and fifth overall.
Marina 4, Edison 3--Kyle Loftis scored the winning goal in the 78th minute on a breakaway for host Marina (10-3-4, 1-1). Anthony Ordonez scored two goals and Grant Hauxhurst had one for Marina.
In the Empire League:
No. 4 El Dorado 2, Century 0--Greg Reese and Andrew Baduria scored for El Dorado (14-1-2, 3-0).
In the Orange League:
No. 10 Brea Olinda 3, Savanna 0--Adam Thorpe, Chris Becher and Danny Yezarski scored second-half goals in a 15-minute span for host Brea Olinda (18-1, 3-0). Mike Maynard made five saves to record his 11th shutout of the season.
In the Sea View League:
Newport Harbor 1, No. 5 Woodbridge 0--Senior forward Gary Meek cut around goalkeeper Adam Hahn and scored the game’s only goal in the 45th minute for the visiting Sailors (3-3-4, 1-0-1). Hahn made three saves for Woodbridge (0-2-1 in league).
In the South Coast League:
No. 1 Dana Hills 3, San Clemente 0--Forrest Smith and Matt DuHadway each had a goal and an assist for Dana Hills (15-1-2, 3-0) which remained unbeaten in league. Backup keeper Edgar Rios got his first career shutout and Dana Hills recorded its ninth shutout of the season.
No. 6 Capistrano Valley 3, El Toro 1--Jesse Dunn scored on an assist from Greg Robertson two minutes into the second half and Jeff Serafini and Freddy Rivera also added goals for the Cougars (14-3-4, 1-0-1). Matt Rolfe scored for El Toro (8-4-3, 1-1-1).
