Repairs to Cause Power Outage
Southern California Edison said a few hundred homes in Agoura Hills will experience a power outage on Monday and Wednesday for routine repairs to underground cable lines.
“This has nothing to do with the rolling outage,” said Dave Hoag, a contractor with Edison. “This is a normal, everyday operating procedure. We’re just doing repairs to some bad facilities and connectors.”
Residents north of Eagleton Street will experience the outage from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, and residents south of Eagleton Street will be without power from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Hoag said.
He estimated the power will actually be shut off for only about an hour each day.
