From Times Wire Reports

George W. Bush went golfing for the first time as president, following his predecessor Bill Clinton’s practice of taking a do-over mulligan shot and enjoying the perk of certain victory.

“It’s called ‘president wins,’ ” Bush said as he finished his round at Andrews Air Force Base by pocketing the ball after missing a putt for par 5.

With a weekend of golf coming up at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, the president sought to brush up on his game.
