Here are a few special bowls of the oat-based enriched cereal.

* Old Town Bakery: This crunchy granola is flavored with pecans, toasted sesame, dried blueberries, orange juice, molasses and maple syrup. * Petals: The granola at this ocean-view place has lots of ingredients, including dried cherries and blueberries, almonds, pistachios, pecans, sesame seeds, honey and brown sugar. * Red: Take a little coconut, a pinch of cinnamon, a generous sprinkling of pecans, mix it with honey, molasses, brown sugar and oats, cook it till it’s just getting crispy, and you’ve got a bowl of Red’s granola. Add a scoop or two of nonfat yogurt, some sliced strawberries and a drizzle of honey, and you’ve got a mouth-watering breakfast in front of you. (House-made granola, $4.95.)
