“Kenneth Tyler: Thirty Years of Printmaking,” opening Sunday at the California Center for the Arts Museum in Escondido, looks at the career of the renowned master printer and publisher who transformed American printmaking through his many innovations. The survey will feature more than 100 large-scale prints and limited-edition artist books by Tyler as well as works by the many influential artists who have worked at Tyler Graphics, including David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Robert Motherwell, David Baze and Frank Stella.* “Kenneth Tyler: Thirty Years of Printmaking” and “Recent Acquisitions: Selections From the Permanent Collection,” California Center for the Arts Museum, 340 N.
