An Emotional Journey

It was a long, tumultuous season for the Lakers, from the exuberance of Shaquille O’Neal, to the way Kobe Bryant and teammates such as Rick Fox slowly came together. Coach Phil Jackson chose key spots to show his feelings, and the contributions of Derek Fisher and Robert Horry were underrated. But it all seemed worth it, as all that emotion resulted in a second consecutive NBA championship trophy.
