Mother Questioned in Baby’s Death

Police questioned the mother of a dead newborn boy found on a rooftop in Yorba Linda and are awaiting test results from the coroner’s office to determine the cause of the baby’s death, police said Monday.
The owner of a townhouse in the 5200 block of Via Murcia found the full-term newborn in a plastic container on his roof early Friday.
Police said the baby was dead when it was placed on the roof several days earlier.
Authorities are trying to determine if the baby was stillborn or if his death was the result of a crime.
No one has been charged in the case.
The baby’s mother lives in Walnut.
