Cerritos Center’s ‘PizAzz’ Offers a Rich Mix of International Music, Dance and Theater
The free “Friends Family Arts Festival: PizAzz: A Passport to Imagination and the Arts,” celebrating music, dance and theater from around the world, will be held at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event features Ballet Folklorico del Pacifico, the Aman Folk Ensemble, Bobby Matos and the Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble, the Shtetl Menschen Klezmer Band, the Jim Gamble Puppets, the Celebration Arts Giant Puppets, Flights of Fantasy storytelling, hula, taiko drumming, Chinese yo-yo demonstrations and martial arts.
Interactive activities include lessons in country western, salsa and West African dancing, mask-making, postcard designs and face-painting. The Cerritos Center is at 12700 Center Court Drive, Cerritos; (562) 916-8510.
