Positions Available on City Boards, Committees

San Clemente is accepting applications from residents to fill 19 positions on the city’s commissions and committees. Selected individuals will serve two-year terms from July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2003.

There are four positions open on each of the following committees: Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Golf Course Committee and the Human Affairs Committee. There are two spots on the Investment Advisory Committee and one on the Rancho Mission Viejo Land Conservancy.

Applications will be accepted by the City Clerk’s Department until 5 p.m., June 18. The City Council will conduct interviews and make appointments on June 26 and 27 at 6 p.m. in council chambers. Application forms and job descriptions are available from the city clerk’s office at 100 Avenida Presidio.
