2 Teenagers Accused in Theme Park Robbery
Two 17-year-old Santa Clarita boys were tackled by Magic Mountain Amusement Park employees and arrested after trying to run off with a bag of cash from a park store, authorities said.
One of the boys grabbed the bag from a park employee who was closing up shop Saturday night, Sheriff’s Det. Scott Miller said.
The employee chased and caught the teenager, authorities said. The two teenagers were later detained by employees and park security.
Both suspects, who were released to their parents, have been charged with robbery, Miller said.
