The 49ers should be buoyed by the return of senior forward Rudy Williams, who missed all of last season because of injury after averaging 12.2 points and 7.3 rebounds two years ago. Western Michigan has four returning starters from a team that finished 7-21 last season, including senior forward Steve Reynolds, who averaged 14.8 points a game.
