Murray’s Latest Move Pays Off

Share

Since Steve Rucchin was sidelined with a stress fracture in his left ankle, Duck Coach Bryan Murray has juggled his lines during games, trying to get some production.

Sergei Krivokrasov was bumped up from the third to the second line with Matt Cullen and Mike Leclerc against Columbus on Friday.

The move paid off. Krivokrasov, acquired from Minnesota on Nov. 1, knocked in a rebound of his own shot for his first goal as a Duck. It gave the Ducks a 2-1 lead five minutes into the third period of a game they lost, 3-2.
