Couple, Dog Found Slain in Trailer

The bodies of a couple and their pet dog were found in the family’s trailer home, and authorities said all three had been killed.
The bodies of Robert and Patricia Mayhew, both 52, and their dog were discovered Tuesday evening. Authorities declined to say how they died.
Investigators were not sure how long the Mayhews had been staying in the trailer park 75 miles southeast of Los Angeles because spaces there are rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
