A man and woman were found dead in a Tujunga apartment Thursday, the apparent victims of a double homicide, police said.

There were few details about the murder, but police took a child out of the condominium in the 10100 block of Commerce Avenue, said Officer Jason Lee.

Police did not release the child’s name, the names of the victims nor their relationship to the child.

The bodies were discovered about 2:30 p.m. by a roommate of the male victim, Lee said. “He came home and found his roommate and his roommate’s girlfriend dead in the house. A small child in the house was not harmed.”

Police did not have a motive for the killings, nor had they arrested anyone.

The condominiums are in a densely populated neighborhood in the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains.
