Colorado is making inroads in recruiting football players from Southern California.

The Buffaloes have picked up a commitment from linebacker Alex Ligon of North Torrance, the top defensive player in the Bay League. He joins Simi Valley Royal quarterback James Cox, who already committed to Colorado. Ligon has helped lead North Torrance to a 5-1 record by contributing six sacks....
