Police Seek Driver in Hit-and-Run Death
Police are asking for help in finding the person who ran over a 3-year-old girl in southwest Los Angeles on Friday and then fled.
Chrystal Gaeta was struck and killed at Alsace Avenue and Adams Boulevard after straying from her mother at a Laundromat, police said. According to witnesses, the driver of a gray or silver pickup stopped briefly, but then fled. The truck was described as a late model Chevrolet 1500 extended cab, possibly with a roll bar, and was last seen driving east on Adams.
