A 21-year-old man suspected of drunk driving in a crash that killed two teenagers last month was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of robbing a Camarillo bank with his younger brother, authorities said.
Peter Hislar and his brother, Anthony Hislar, 19, who are both transients, were captured after sheriff’s deputies spotted them fleeing the bank in a white minivan, authorities said.
The pair allegedly used a note to demand money from a teller at the Bank of America in the 5800 block of Santa Rosa Road, authorities said. No one was injured and the stolen money was recovered.
Peter Hislar also is suspected of crashing a car in Somis on Aug. 16, killing passengers Gina Gruttadaurio, 18, of Somis, and Jason Busick, 19, of Camarillo. Charges have not yet been filed in that case.
