The Mighty Ducks lost an exhibition to the Minnesota Wild, 5-1, Friday night in St. Paul, Minn. Sergei Zholtok scored two goals for Minnesota. Paul Kariya scored for the Ducks.

The Ducks have 28 players after Thursday’s cuts. Most of the roster seems to be set, barring unexpected moves or injuries.
Forwards: Kariya, Steve Rucchin, Jeff Friesen, Marty McInnis, Matt Cullen, Mike Leclerc, Samuel Pahlsson, Timo Parssinen, Jonas Ronnqvist, German Titov, Dan Bylsma, Peter Tenkrat, Jim Cummins and Kevin Sawyer.
Defense: Oleg Tverdovsky, Keith Carney, Jason York, Vitaly Vishnevski and Ruslan Salei.
Goalies: Steve Shields, Jean-Sebastien Giguere.
The remaining competition is for two spots on the defense, among Pavel Trnka, Drew Bannister and Antti-Jussi Niemi.
