Man Sentenced After Plea in Tagging Case

A Van Nuys man has been sentenced to six months in jail after pleading no contest to charges involving graffiti vandalism at 12 public and private properties.
Palo “Buster” Alcazar, 19, was sentenced Tuesday to 300 hours of community service and ordered to stay away from other members of his tagging group as well as his old tagging ground on Hazeltine Avenue, Lemay and Archwood streets and Van Nuys Boulevard.
