All for Drought
Re “West Comes Up Dry on Plans for Drought,” Dec. 9: Water from lawn-sprinkler runoff runs down my street and many others; it’s also flowing down the alley behind my house. I often see people cleaning their yards with a water hose.
California doesn’t seem to understand this isn’t “lawn country” or that water is not to be used this way. Why shouldn’t the other states that share the Colorado River water reduce the supply?
