No One Injured as Fire Destroys Cabin

Flames destroyed a cabin Friday night in Angeles National Forest north of La Canada Flintridge.
The blaze broke out shortly after 9 p.m. at 2143 Stonyvale Road, which parallels Big Tujunga Canyon Road, and ignited a propane tank.
Firefighters evacuated near- by cabins. They were unable to fight the fire by air because of the darkness and terrain.
About 75 firefighters were battling the blaze at 11 p.m.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the blaze wasn’t immediately known.
